A to Z of essential oils

Italians have used Bergamot for years to reduce feelings of stress and to soothe and rejuvenate skin. In Greece, the unripe fruits are used as sweetmeats, eaten by the spoonful as a dessert or with coffee. Bergamot is unique among citrus oils due to its ability to be both uplifting and calming, making it ideal to help with anxious and sad feelings. It is also purifying and cleansing for the skin while having a calming.

I love putting bergamot in a cup of tea as it is what is used to give Earl Grey tea its flavour.

Emotionally bergamot is the oil of self acceptance. Bergamot relieves feelings of despair, self judgement and low self esteem. Bergamot invites individuals to see life with more optimism.

Bergamot awakens the soul to hope and offers courage to share the inner self. Reigniting optimism and confidence in the self, it imparts true self acceptance.

I love Bergamot blended with Sandalwood and Clary Sage.
